So someone previously requested that I add some color to this drawing... Well there ya go! :) I'm not sure which is more appealing but let me know what you think!
Alex, you just made my day! One of the hardest things for me is making something authentic. It is so hard because I admire so many famous artists and want to reproduce some of their work with my own perspective. But a lot of people call that "copying". Personally, I think that if something is created with your own hand, and is seen in a different light, it becomes your own. I know that I am not the only person who has this problem. Many artists have an issue with creating something from imagination rather than just a "reproduction". I could go on and on about this topic but I would prefer not to bore you all! :) So thank you Alex for saying that you think I put my own twist to things and thank you to everyone else who has been so supportive of my work! It truly means a lot to me!
Thanks! Truthfully I like the black and white one better but I have to say I think the picture I took of the color one looks a little more appealing, not really sure why lol
This is beautiful! I feel the color helps to bring the drawing to life. But ultimately, you are the artist. So you know best what your intent is. :) Beautiful drawing! Reminds me of the Alice in Underground themed show that's going on here at SUNY Purchase.
